The department introduced post-graduate education in the year 1969. Oral health and hygiene implementation and maintenance of the same are it’s goals.
Special equipments available in the department are ultra-sonic scalers, light cure units, micromotors, airotors, suction apparatus and intra-oral radiograph unit.
The students are trained and guided by well experienced staff who also motivate them for paper and poster presentations in all meets both in college and outside( conferences/conventions)
Most of the treatment are free of charge for those whose salary falls below the govt. set limit. The rest have to pay according to government norms which is very very small.
